Free Tasty Summer Treats In Minutes at Winchester Farmers' Market!

Winchester Farmers' Market will be holding a 'taster day' to celebrate the wonderful fresh seaonal produce available to buy at the farmers' market. Winchester Hampshire Farmers' Market runs in the Middle Brook Street and the ajoining car park between 9am & 2pm on Sunday 27th July.

The market is part of the month of celebaration of local food - The Hampshire Food Festival, running between 1st July - 31st July to raise awareness of Hampshire's high quality produce. Jennifer Laing will be helping to promote this by cooking up some tasty treats on the cookery demonstration unit, based around the idea of delicious market meals in minutes, showing ways to combine just a few ingreditents from producers at the market to make really simple meals in minutes!

Other delicious locally grown, seasonal fruit and vegetables will be available at the market as weel as free range meat, game, bread and naughty but nice cakes, puddings, award winning cheeses, preserves, cider and wine.

At a Hampshire Farmers' Market all produce being sold must have been grown, reared, caught, brewed, pickled, baked, or processed within Hampshire or ten miles of the border.

The producer, or someone directly involved with the production, must sell the produce themselves and no bought in produce is allowed.
