All the producers are keen to talk about their produce and many offer the chance to sample before you buy including a variety of cheeses, wines, jams, honeys and cakes.

Refreshments are available at the markets including a free range Hampshire Hog Roast, burgers, sausages, cakes etc. Alternatively in each town the teashops, cafes and shops are normally open so that you can take the opportunity to sit down, relax and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, just as markets used to be!

Hampshire Farmers’ markets often have traditional music or entertainment and try to offer customers a relaxed, sociable environment in which to shop whilst offering a wide range of local produce, including organic.

We also attend several agricultural shows during the year including Sparsholt College Open Day, the New Forest Show, Alresford Show and Romsey Show with information and tastings of local produce.
